Our first wedding!!!!!!!

This was a first for Mustang Sally.....we played our first wedding. So let me start by saying congratulations to Dawn and Jason. A wedding is something we are not used to playing. Any of you who have seen us before know we can get a little crazy, but I guess that is why they hired us! Dawn and Jason had seen us in concert several times and it was an honor when they asked us to be there when they chose to begin their lives together.

Knowing we can be a little wild when it comes to our shows, we decided to kind of lay back and be a little more conservative with all the wedding guests. But it didn't take long until Jason (the Groom) and his father approached me and said, "Go for it! Mess with these folks! Don't hold back! Pick on everyone!" So we did and we had a blast. Even the bride and groom stayed until the end of the night. It was a great reception and we couldn't have asked for a better ending. For the last song of the night, the father of the groom and the father of the bride came together and sang "Family Tradition." It was great seeing two families come together like these folks did.
