We had a wonderful time playing to Tobi's home crowd last Friday, great club, lots of dancers, tons of fun. My favorite was the guy who looked a bit like John Meyer dressed in 80's gear who was doing high kicks and triple pirouettes across the floor. Most amusing.
Saturday night we camped out in Mundelein, IL, where a bunch of my friends and family arrived ready to party. (Ah, the joy of playing in one's home town!) Between my sisters and their friend Stevie, they got the whole place dancing! (Including Nancy Majewski, my best friend's mom!!)
All the folks from Chi-town who missed us send there love to the rest of the band and can't wait till we're back. (back me up here, guys!)
