Confederate Railroad!!!!

Cripple Creek Roadhouse in North Carolina is a fun place to play. Not only that but when you get to play with a group like Confederate Railroad, how can it be a bad thing. I have always wanted to see these guys play and my first time seeing them, we are also playing with them! How cool is that! To the people in the crowd- thanks for listening to us and all our craziness. I want to thank the one guy in the yellow shirt for making me smile the whole show. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I was glad we got to be a part of it. The music was great and it was nice to talk to the guys in the band....Danny and Cody you are a great bunch of guys and it was great to work with you. Thanks to all the folks who sat in the blazing sun and had fun with us.....I hope we see you next time... Tobi

Jimmie Rodger's Festival and B-B-Q

It was so great to be in Mississippi. First of all you love the crowd and the show was so much fun. We have never had so many dancers at one show. I loved the guy way in the back that danced with me on Footloose. Then when all the kids came on stage to show me how to dance (because i can't) not only was I ashamed that I even tried to dance but I realized how out of shape I was and how little I know about today's dancing. Oh well, at least we try. I guess you could say it was a good thing we were moving because we were eating some of the best bbq we have ever had. I think we had ribs, shrimp, cuban sandwiches, homemade fudge, bbq nachos......okay we ate everything that was given to us. It was all fantastic. We want to thank the Magnificent Red Eyed Smokers/Roadin' Rump Roasters--Mark, Tim, Mike and Randall-- for letting us hang out and eat your award-winning food after the show. We are not going to forget that you guys said you would come to Nashville and cookout if we played the music. We are holding you to that! Also thanks to Pacific Coastal for the ribs. If I got your name wrong please let me know and I will fix it. Rachel (Mustang Sally#3) is still talking about those ribs. We just want to say thanks for all the food and thanks to all the kids who hung out with us. We had a great time and hope we will be back to judge the bbq contest next year. These are a couple of picture of the guys that fed us so well and they will be in Nashville soon for a cookout at Lisa's house.....We can't wait. Tobi
