Lakeside Outfitters

Put in Bay, Ohio is home to the longest bar in the world and one of my favorite places to shop in the world....... We as a band love this store. Their clothes are perfect for the club-goer or the entertainer. Every year this is one of things we look forward to. There are only two stores in the country so you don't have to worry about dressing like anyone else. This year we as a band did extensive shopping for new promo shots and we want to thank the owners.......Tamar and Daniel for taking care of us as a band and helping us put together outfits. Hence the name Lakeside Outfitters!!!!

Ladies all across the land, if you want to go shopping and have a vacation, this Island is the place to go. Tell them Mustang Sally sent you and I promise you won't be disappointed and neither will your boyfriend. Thanks for the clothes and the help in how to wear them. Tobi

Rhythm and Rib Festival

I thought I knew what partying was but if you go to Ottawa, Ohio....you will soon find out. They know how to throw a party. This is like a huge outdoor b-b-cue where 5,000-10,000 people show up to eat ribs and drink beer. We were lucky enough to be the entertainment for this party. But we were not the only show in town.......Oh no. There was a bbq eating contest, cornhole tournament, and Brenda even got up early to run the 5K. For the first time ever I got to see the Weiner Dog Races.....Yes... Weiner dog Races. I had never witnessed this before and I laughed and cheered. One of the funniest things I have seen on the road....Only because during one race, two dogs were running but stopped short of the finish line to sniff each other's rears. It was great and finally by a nose a dog won. I took a couple of pictures so you can see what I am talking about. Congrats to Charlie Brown the winning weiner.

After all the excitement of the races we took the stage and I have to tell you, expect anything in this town. We weren't 3 songs into the show before people were on the stage doing things you would normally see in a bar that had poles in the middle.....If you know what I mean. I loved it.... we were practically hanging from the tent poles and people were dancing on the tables. I can't wait to see what happens next year because this is a show even I wouldn't want to miss playing. Crazy, Crazy,Crazy....but then again... so am I. Tobi

I LOVE PUT-N-BAY!!!!!!!!!

I just say the same thing every year.....this is a party everyday......You lay out at the pool and then you hit the Beer Barrel Saloon to party all night. I love the people here cause they just wanna have a good time and that's what we as a band are about. So you drive around the island all day on a golf cart and then you get cleaned up and hit the world's longest bar to listen to music and dance. These folks came to our show and became......Official Mustang Sally Fans. Derrick. Michael, Brian...and many others... Thanks for hanging with us and coming to hear us play. I hope we see you at another show soon. We need you guys to hang out and point, yell and bang the stage so people know how to act in the front row......Thanks for the support ........ We will see you all soon....Tobi Lee

Bob and Becky Turner

How do you measure success as an entertainer? In my opinion it's when your fans keep coming back to see you. Last year in Ohio Bob and Becky were at the Beer Barrel and we happened to be playing. This year Bob asked his wife what she wanted to do for vacation. She said she wanted to come to Put-in-Bay and hang out with us. Well we played the first night and there sat Bob and Becky...the next night...Bob and Becky....this went on every night. We left for a couple of days, came back and there again in the front sat Bob and Becky. They didn't miss one show and every night we saw them in the crowd. So, as artists, there is nothing more flattering than to see folks at your show every night. This is how lucky we are as a band. Bob and Becky....We can't thank you enough and we will continue to do whatever we can to keep you coming back. Thanks so much and with fans like you.....that's the best success we could have. Thanks. Tobi Lee and Mustang Sally!!!!!!!

Owensboro....Sunset Series

Yes Oh Yes......this is a big outdoor Party. Normally you have to be twenty one to get in but at this party you have to be twenty one to get out....This is a fun show to play. It's right on the riverfront and they just turn up the music and have a great time.

We play a lot of places and crowds always sing along, but when we did Redneck Woman....they gave us the loudest "Hell Yeah" we have ever had. They knew how to sing and how to get redneck. Owensboro.....It is a night we won't soon forget!!!! I can't wait to come back and hang with you guys again. Party On Kentucky!!!! Tobi

Back Home again in Indiana......

In the middle of working sometimes we do get to do a little sightseeing.....So welcome to Evansville, Indiana. We were working at Casino Aztar and Rachel, Sarah, and I (tobi) thought we would check out the town. I have to say the architecture is fantastic. I don't know much about it, but is was nice to look at. So here are a couple of pics of our day in town.

Okay.....I bet you are wondering what this is a picture of.....Well I have to be honest. On Friday night's show I walked outside to get some fresh air and it was dark out so all I could see was the river and what I thought was a vast drop off into the water. There was a little bunny rabbit walking up and down the concrete wall and I was kind of joking saying, "Please don't jump, it will all be okay" and then a second or two later, the rabbit jumped! I thought he had jumped to his death so I got on stage and talked about what I just witnessed. But then the next day as we were walking I see that it wasn't a big drop off and the rabbit didn't jump after all. I was happy but I felt like a fool. Oh well at least the rabbits okay.
Well all the sightseeing and rabbit funerals leads us to the show.....and I have to say anyone who has seen us knows I am a little crazy. After all I am from Indiana and heck I felt right at home. This crowd was crazy and fun. Now the band knows-- it runs in the water. Gotta love my people. Well we have officially found this summer's Homewreckin' Man.....

We played our song and the women just swarmed him.......What a chick magnet. Good thing I had to stay on stage or I would have been in trouble......I had a blast....I love Indiana and I can't wait to come back home.....Thanks Evansville......Tobi Lee

Florham Park, New Jersey

The people of Florham Park, NJ are some of the nicest folks around. We had a beautiful Sunday evening of music and fun in the park. In the middle of our second set, we even had fireworks to celebrate Florham Park’s 50th anniversary. There were a ton of kids in the audience. Play a game of “Where’s Waldo” and try to find Tobi in the photo among all the kids.

Usually our tour schedule allows us to visit New Jersey only once a summer. This summer we get to visit the Garden State on three separate occasions. For our New Jersey friends, we hope to see you August 1 in Westfield and August 22 in Linden.

Thanks for a great time!
