He must be doing something right.............

Well we have been waiting to play this show for quite a while because we have heard Billy Currington is the sexiest man in country music......I have to say the view from backstage wasn't bad at all......No seriously he is a great singer and a very nice guy. He introduced himself during soundcheck and we were really happy to meet him....He's a great guy ladies.

I said this during our show in Kalispel, Montana but it is some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. We drove from Washington to Montana and the west is really nice to drive through. I took a couple of pictures and if you get a chance to go there, bring your camera. Thanks to all the folks who came to see the show and thanks for letting Mustang Sally visit your state......Tobi

A day off in Seattle

Well very rarely do we get a chance to actually see the cities we play near because we are always working....but thanks to a late flight out of Seattle we got the chance to run around a little bit and check the town out. I have to say the farmer's market there is great and the little shops around it are very unique......and they have free samples....So don't eat before you get there...Thank goodness we didn't....Yes we had to go to the top of the space needle....The view of the city is great. I suggest it to anyone.

But I have to say if you go to Seattle, you have to go to the original Starbucks......See how we look when we get our coffee......It was pretty neat to get a Carmel Machiatta at the coffee house that started it all.......So to coffee fans all over the world......The original is a must visit.....Thanks to Ocean Shores, Washington for letting us be a part of your Harley Rally and letting us come to the west coast......It is somewhere I have always wanted to visit.....I saw the Pacific Ocean...Yaaaa!!!! thanks again...Tobi

Gettysburg....Bike week

Well I have to say we are so lucky to get to play bike rallies and bike weeks. Not only because of the people we get to meet, but because they are some of the best crowds we get to play for throughout the year. There was an earlier blog that filled you in on the flag flown in Iraq in our name, but what you didn't know is that the same guys gave Mustang Sally their first ever ride in style to the stage right before our concert......thanks again for the flag and the ride......I have to say that is the only way to arrive to a bike week show....Thanks

I can't stop the thanks there. As I said we get to play bike rallies all over the world and I want to thank the crowd of 10,000 who came to see our show and made us feel great. We had a blast and you were a great crowd to play for.....Tobi Lee

Vanya Petkova

Three years ago, I met Vanya as the bartender who LOVED one of our original songs, "Run, Run, Run".
She had a summer job at the Beer Barrel Saloon, on Put-in-Bay (OH), while going to school to get her degree in Economics.

Since then every time we would be there, or more specifically, every night that we were performing, she would request that song, and also tell everybody how much she loved us and how much she loved that song. Therefore, the other members of the staff started to enjoy the song and request it as well.
Currently, Brenda's lovely voice on "Run, Run, Run" is Vanya's cellphone ringtone, and it has been helping heal a painful breakup from another waitress at the Barrel. Also, I already lost the count of how many people on that island told me "Vanya got me started on that song, now I have it on my iPod, and I'm always listening to it".
The summer is almost over now, we are not playing on Put-it Bay until maybe next year, and last Sunday she moved to Washington D.C. to pursue her Masters in International Economics at the American University, but, regardless, there will always be the friendship between Mustang Sally and the girl from Yambol, Bulgaria that started with "Run, Run, Run".
Cheers for you my friend, I wish you the best in D.C.!
kisses;
Amanda

Seattle Trip

This is a short briefing of our Seattle Trip:
-Javier was the best flight attendant we ever had, he kept us entertained on our flight to Seattle.
On our free day in Seattle, we all split up. Some of the girls went to the top of the space needle, while we hung with Alex's sister Sam. The highlight of our trip was hanging with Bobby and Charlie the sushi chef at "I Love Bento" in Tacoma, WA.

Kisses + kisses;
