A sad note

For those of you who were aware of the situation, Lisa's mother, Martha Jane Romeo was in poor health for the last several months and passed away December 26th, 2006.

Several of us had the privilege of meeting her when passing through TX, and a sweeter, more gentle lady you could not find. Our hearts and prayers go out to Lisa and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the “Don and Martha Romeo 4-H Scholarship Fund,” which can be sent to 15332 Old Mormon Bridge Road, Crescent, IA 51526. -Sarah

Thanks.......

I just wanted to say thanks to some people who made our New Year a little better....First of all.....Sharon and Evelyn...thanks for getting everyone the necklaces and earrings. It was very nice that you thought of us......and Tiki (my dog) thanks you for the peanut treats. Also I would like to thank The Clinic and Dr. McCulloch for getting me in good enough health to make our New Year's bash. It is never easy to sing with pharyngitis but I had no problem playing all weekend so thanks for getting me in and out so I could still sing....Happy New Year and thanks. Tobi

House of Blues!!!!!!

This Party Rocked.......Thanks to the Homebuilders Assc. we had a great time playing the House Of Blues. This place is incredible. The green room was bigger than my house....plus it had an xbox to play with. It was so much fun to play this stage where so many great acts have played. I have to say it was a great show to end our year on. Thanks for letting us be a part of the party.

And these are a few shots from the show....and just pics of the club...thanks again...Tobi

the wheels on the bus go round and round!!!!

Okay...most of you know our bus keeps breaking down. Just about every week something happens....but we always seem to pull through...thanks to Lisa!! I just thought I would share this lovely picture of us waiting for the rental van to get hooked up to our trailer so we could get on the road. I have to say 7 girls in a van......is not as much fun as our bus....we always seem to manage. And thanks to the bus breaking down, we are getting a new one....YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's still gonna be a while but it is something to look forward to. This is what we look like before the show....SEXY!!!!! NOT!!!!

Merry Christmas Ya'll!!!!

I know it's a little late but we all went home for the holidays and I just got the chance to update our blog.....But Merry Christmas!!! Each year instead of drawing names and buying for one another we decided we would just go shopping for kids and then donate them to a good cause...this year we chose the Ronald Mcdonald House which is a great cause because they help families out when children are in the hospital and it gives the families a place to call home in the midst of an illness. I know this because when I was younger my cousin was in an accident and this foundation took care of his family while he was in the hospital so they were close to him until he recovered.

I also want to thank the Owens family for the starbucks gift card....That is where we started our night....with alot of caffeinne.. So needless to say while we were shopping for toys and playing with them....we decided were a band let's get music instruments...(which I am sure the parents will appreciate) Okay...yes we bought a little toy piano and played it the whole way through the store and sang christmas songs....We had alot of fun and we got alot of toys....so Merry christmas and I hope your holidays were a blessed as ours....Tobi
