Kick'n Up Kountry

Awesome show, awesome day. Even in the rain we played and the crowd danced and sang. We have always enjoyed playing this festival so it was nice to be back. This year we shared the stage with Heartland, Steve Holy, and the sexy and talented Phil Vassar. What a singer.....what a songwriter...and what a show. We are so lucky... Right before our performance, we were presented with a official Kick'n Up Kountry necklace by LeeAnn Nelson, the owner of Diamonds and Designs. To LeeAnn: Thanks! The necklaces were so nice and unexpected. We appreciate it. Thanks, Minnesota. We can't wait to see you again. And to Phil Vassar... we can't wait to see you again either ;) Tobi

Mustang Sally....Behind the scenes

We are still a band on the rise so there are a lot of things we can't afford. But when you are on the road as much as us, you have to make life on the road as comfortable as possible so this is the inside of our new bus. We are so lucky as a band to have this and it has been great and I want to thank the agents and promoters who keep us working so we can have something as nice as this. Now as I said, we still can't afford a lot of things that the bigger acts have like road managers and fan club presidents...so I want to take the time to thank Lisa Romeo (drummer) because even though she sets up and plays she also handles all the book work, the payroll, and advances all our dates. In other words, she makes sure we have sound, rooms, food and enough gas money to get to the show. So I guess you could say she is our road manager and our drummer. Thanks Lisa for all your hard work. I am not done yet. When people order things online or sign up for our fan club or send us an email, we should have somebody taking care of that....Well Brenda Zitzman (acoustic) takes care of all that. She mails out all those CDs and Tshirts, she sets up and handles all the merchandise and all the websites, email lists, myspace, and fan club members. So I want to take the time and thank Brenda for all the work she does behind the scenes. This is why Mustang Sally keeps going--because of all the folks behind the scenes. As a part of this band, I appreciate all you do and thanks for everything. Tobi

See, even on the road.....She is working. Thanks.....Tobi

Riverside Casino

I have never seen fireworks up close and personal like I witnessed at Riverside Casino's One Year Anniversary Party. We were right underneath them and they were amazing. This was just a good ol' pool party with great food and great people. Once the party loosened up, a few of us decided it was time to hit the pool. Clothes and all people were diving in and dancing. This is a Casino and Golf resort all rolled into one. Thanks for letting us play your party and next time everyone, including Dan (the Boss), are going into the pool. Tobi

Kinston, North Carolina

This was also a new show for us, and through the wind and rain we didn't stop playing. I told the crowd that if they will stay, I'll stand in the rain until I get electrocuted....And they stayed. Of course if I did get electrocuted, it would just be a quick way for me to fix my hair. Maybe I need to think about that. There was this little girl in the audience, 2 1/2 year old Angela Hughes of Boston who was visiting her grandparents Alton & Sherry Hughes, who just danced and danced until the music stopped....I am not kidding. At one point I got her on stage to dance and we were doing the song "Mustang Sally" when our driver, Scott, said there was no way I could keep up with that little girl and I didn't think I could, but I tried. To the victor goes the spoils... and the weight loss. I danced side by side the whole song with that little girl....Yeah, short of needing an oxygen tank and a nap we made it through the show and what a fun time. Thanks Kinston we will see you soon. Tobi

Linden, New Jersey

I love this town. This was our first time playing here and the crowd was great. The rain stayed away and the night was perfect. This is a nice venue to play. Thanks to the folks of Linden for making us feel like we were right at home. It was great to see some friends from Echo Lake Park and great to make some new friends. I hope we see you all again soon and love the town....Tobi

Beer Barrel Saloon

I just want to take the time to thank the fans, our friends and the staff at the Beer Barrel Saloon in Put in Bay, Ohio for another great year. This is just a fun place to stay and play and we are glad we get to be a part of the summer here. One more weekend... let's have a great time and thanks again. Tobi

Staunton, Virginia...Shenandoah Harley Davidson

Well I have to say I think this is one of the best views we have had from stage for a landscape. (Of course our crowds are always the best looking views!!) I know you see the boxing ring in the background and I am proud to say ....Yes I made it in the ring. Sarah and I went in there to dual on the "Devil Went Down To Georgia." As always, she wins in the song, but I think it would be a pretty close battle if we took away the fiddle and just went one on one.

Now I bet you are wondering who this fine looking gentleman is..... Well his wife let us borrow him because we needed a Mr. Wonderful and ladies, he fit the package. We had a great time doing this rally. I would like to thank the folks at Shenandoah Valley Harley Davidson for the great gift basket they gave the band. After fighting over what everyone wanted (just kidding) we enjoyed the shirts and all the products. I would also like to give a shout out to the Rockahock group who came to this show and you are so lucky--congrats on the brand new Harley. See you all soon and thanks again. Tobi
