BIG & RICH

First of all, this was a big show in Indiana which is my home state. I actually graduated high school about 50 miles from here. So this was a pretty big deal for me because my family was coming and we were playing with one of the biggest names in country music.....BIG & RICH. Also I didn't realize that Two Foot Fred and I were from the same area. Go Southern Indiana!!!! I have to say it was hot hot hot but it was awesome. The crowd rocked. Thanks so much for listening and making us feel so great about what we do. I loved the guy in the red shirt....David.....For all the entertainment he gave me.

This was so much fun. I was wishing this show would never end, but when we were finished Cowboy Troy took the stage and then Big & Rich. They are so incredibly talented and we had a blast playing with them. The sound was great, the show was great, and the crowd was great. Thanks Indiana for letting me come home and play a show like this. We loved it.....Tobi

The Stage back home in Nashville

You can look at our schedule and see we don't have a whole lot of time in Nashville, but I do want to take a moment and thank Brad from The Stage down on Lower Broadway for letting Rachel, Brenda and me come down and play on Tuesdays when we are in town. Nashville is the home of country music and country music fans are always in town checking out all the music on Broadway. It is so much fun for us to play at home and to get to meet people from all over the world. Thanks for letting us get a chance to do this and we have a great time being Mustang Sally Unplugged. If you're in town stop by and see us. Thanks again, Brad....Tobi

Calhoun, Georgia...Fun in the Park!!!!!!

We have played this show three years in a row and it just keeps getting better. It is really neat because now we get a chance to know the people and we look forward to seeing them every year. Also we get to meet new folks like the lady in the first picture, the "crazy redhead" Diana. I was giving her a hard time because she wanted to come on stage and take pictures of the girls she couldn't get while we were playing so I took my camera and made her pose for me. She was a great sport and a lot of fun.
In the second picture.....I have to tell you nothing makes you feel better then when you show up to play and all these youngsters are in Mustang Sally shirts. Not only are they adorable but thanks to their moms for bringing them every year. Whether or not you know it, we look forward to seeing them every year.

The couple to the left came out and celebrated 22 years of marriage together....Congrats and thanks for dancing.
On the right.....I thought I had a lot of energy but I have nothing compared to this young lady. Her new nickname is Jumping Bean. Also she gave me a bracelet and I wore it home and I still have it. Thanks to all the kids who make shows so much fun.

We had so many things going on this night......we even had a couple of cloggers that danced to Orange Blossom Special and I didn't get a picture of the guy who danced to Mustang Sally but he had moves, ladies, just let me tell ya. Now, picture this: the show is going on and we are having a great time in the park, then all of a sudden the sprinkler system came on! For a second there I didn't know what was going on because everybody was running everywhere and then I saw the water (considering what a hot day it was, I guess it wasn't so bad). We had a great time with everyone and thanks so much for coming out. It is a great event when the city holds music in the park so families can come out and enjoy the night and the park together. Thanks for letting us be a part of it. And thanks for all the entertainment you gave us. I hope we see you next year.....Tobi

Mellow Mushroom!

So I have to say again, even though I have said it before, we have the greatest job in the world. We get to travel everywhere and meet some of the greatest people you could know. I want to thank Linda and Jimmy for bringing us goodie bags. I have said before that we love to eat and we love desserts. First of all, if you have never been to the Mellow Mushroom to eat, I highly recommend it. Everything on the menu is great. You can't go wrong. So after we ate and got ready for the show, our friends showed up with individual bags of homemade desserts. I am sitting here right now eating a strawberry cake while blogging. Everything in the bag was fantastic. I will have to work out just to work it off....Thanks Linda and Jimmy.
So after dinner and dessert, let the party begin. This room is wild and crazy and I love everytime we play here. You never know what you are gonna get with this crowd but I do know you will have a good time. Thanks to the crowd for making me laugh all night. See you guys and gals next time.....Tobi

Wild Adventures!!!!!!

I would like to thank our agents and the folks from Wild Adventures for the passes to let us hang out at the park. Normally we are in a town just long enough to play the show and get back on the road. Fortunately we were in Valdosta, GA for two days and we enjoyed our Saturday afternoon at the park. So a snow cone, corn dog, hot dog and 6 rides later, we left and played our show at the Mellow Mushroom. Wild Adventures thanks......we had a blast. Tobi
